Staying on your professional trajectory
December 29, 2014 • “Opson LNCC News” Blog

It's Wednesday morning and you have a stack of records on your desk to evaluation for a new medical case you are working on. Somehow you have to know the details of all of this by Friday morning. How do you make sense of it quickly and efficiently?

As a committed professional, you work late slogging through stacks of paper or discs landing you in burnout or loss of enthusiasm for your work.

Don't fall off your professional trajectory. Acknowledge the challenges you face every day and get back to your focus of the law.

As you embark on a new year, but keep in mind you don't have to do it all. Make a New Year resolution to go beyond just what you do for a living and enjoy life again.

Here are five suggestions for a healthy 2015:

  1. Take a vacation
  2. Resolve to return to the gym
  3. Spend time with your family and friends
